ATTENTION ALL KNITTERS, CROCHETERS AND QUILTERS

The Prayer Shawl group from All Saints Episcopal Church has been asked to join in a national Episcopal Church program that provides home made caps and scarves that are distributed through the Seaman's Institute.  This is a program of long standing in the church that serves men and women in the navy, those who work on the ocean and those who sail the rivers and lakes.  We have been invited to combine our creations with those from All Saints for delivery at Christmas.

Patterns may be found at www.seamenschurch.org or you may get a pattern from church.

BABY BLANKETS FOR NEWBORNS

We would like to provide a baby blanket for all babies on our prayer list.  We have a number of parishioners who are expecting children or grandchildren.  Wouldn't it be nice to provide each of these tiny newcomers with a tangible expression of our prayers for them?  Baby blankets can be knitted, crocheted or quilted.  Contact Gloria Long for more information.

AIDS OUTREACH CENTER

We are still collecting cans of tuna for the Aids Outreach Center.  The tuna must be packed in water.  So bring a couple of cans of tuna and put them in the basket.
